Chain Block
Chain blocks are one of the most common types of lifting equipment used for heavy-duty industrial applications. They consist of a single block and tackle mechanism, usually made up of two parts: the chain block itself and a fixed or movable anchor point such as a beam, wall, pillar, or post.
The chain block is attached to the anchor point, and the chain passes around two pulleys or sheaves – one at the anchor point and one at the other end of the block. This allows a user to lift and lower heavy objects with minimal effort.
