Congratulations to Nathan Parker on achieving 15 years of service with Stenhouse Lifting and Safety Solutions.
Although Nathan started with Stenhouse on the 26th of November 2007, we already had good working relationship with him through the industry, so when he applied for a role we had in our workshop, we knew he was the right person for our company, he has since played an integral role in the growth of Stenhouse Lifting & Safety Solutions.
Commencing as a Workshop Supervisor, Nathan’s can-do attitude and hunger to give anything a go quickly saw him progress to become a Service Technician. This role sent him out on the road doing inspections for our clients.
LEEA Training gave Nathan the confidence to be our Primary Technician working on the Gas Fields in
the Surat Basin, where he was exposed to the challenges of extreme weather and heavy-duty equipment as he completed inspections. Nathan also worked on the Inpex Project, a large Gas Plant in Darwin. These were more intense inspections, quickly building on his skills and wisdom as a Service Technician.
As a team player, he has always jumped at opportunities to help Stenhouse when roles needed to be filled, he also completed a Cert 4 in Business and then a Diploma to set him up for success for any future roles to become available.
With the support, training and guidance from Stenhouse, Nathan has evolved into the Yatala Branch Supervisor where no day is the same. Part of this role includes managing people, a challenge he is
improving on every day. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and wisdom with younger team members and watching them grow.
Describing his career at Stenhouse as “very fulfilling”, Nathan is thankful for the ongoing training and development he receives from Stenhouse, all of which have made him into the manager he is today.
